Join us on Oct. 7 for the 2nd Set of Public Meetings!

Taos County is holding the second set of public meetings to discuss the update to the Taos County Comprehensive Plan. The meeting will be facilitated by the County’s consultant, Consensus Planning, and will include a presentation on the planning process and community survey results, and facilitate an interactive session on draft goals and objectives and alternative land use scenarios for how Taos County may grow in the next 20 years. The Comprehensive Plan addresses all aspects of the community, including Community Profile, Community Culture, Land Use, Economic Development, Housing, Transportation, Water Resources and Infrastructure, Community Services and Facilities, Hazard Mitigation, and more.

The public meeting will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the Taos County Senior Center, 601 Lovato Place, Taos. To accommodate community residents’ schedules, there will be two meetings held on the same day: one from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, and one from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Please contact Rachel Romero, Taos County, at rachel.romero@taoscountynm.gov or Jackie Fishman, Consensus Planning at fishman@consensusplanning.com with any questions.

To help spread the word, here is the press release in Word format, and a flyer as a PDF for easy printing and distribution.
